All of this whilst offering a 30% improvement over braking distances with stock compound. EBC are combining this with their Turbo Groove slotted and grooved brake discs. The dimples and grooves keeps the surface of the pad clean and allows built-up gas to escape during sustained braking. Using dimpled instead of drilled holes avoids cracking issues.
