MTC Motorsport BMW B48 G chassis Front Mount Intercooler kit with Charge Pipes. We have engineered this intercooler with a bar and plate core. The MTC intercooler features a massive bar and plate core with flowed cast end tanks and a huge increase the surface area. This intercooler weighs around 10kg and provides over 100% more volume and near 100% more surface area than the standard intercooler. Proven to handle 600bhp. Finished powder coated in black. We have tested our intercoolers on a few vehicles and found they have absolutely fantastic results. The IAT compared to the standard intercooler are reduced massively which means you get consistent increased performance. The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of between 135-140 degrees through 10 runs on the road. At the other side of the intercooler into the engine the standard intercooler temperatures were between 66-70 degrees whereas the MTC intercooler temperatures were around 25 degrees over all 10 runs and was proven to be fantastic on track. The intercooler is a direct fit however professional installation is recommended and should take approximately 2-3 hours. The intercooler will fit plug and play with the following vehicles.
